A familiar face in the AFC East is working out with the Miami Dolphins today.

As reported by ESPN's Field Yates, cornerback Malcolm Butler was spotted amongst a group of players at a Dolphins workout Tuesday afternoon.

"The Dolphins worked out a group of players today including veteran CB Malcolm Butler," Field Yates announced this afternoon.

Butler, who caught the game-sealing interception in the Patriots' Super Bowl XLIX victory over Seattle, hasn't seen regular season action in the NFL since 2020.

A member of the New England Patriots secondary from 2014 to 2017, Butler joined the Tennessee Titans in 2018 where he spent the final three productive years of his NFL career.

Butler did sign a one-year deal with Arizona prior to the start of the 2021 season, but ultimately chose to retire before playing a snap for the Cardinals. He came out of retirement in 2022, re-signing with the Patriots before this season, but New England released Butler with an injury settlement in August.

Now, it appears Butler is healthy and looking to make an effort to play football again.
