Hurricane Ian is headed toward the state of Florida and is expected to hit the Tampa Bay area soon. The Buccaneers, as a result, are leaving home this week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are moving practices to Miami this week. That should allow them to practice without Hurricane Ian making any significant impacts.

"The #bucs are moving practice to Miami this week with Hurricane Ian heading their way," said James Palmer.

With that being said, it's still unclear if the Buccaneers will have to alter their home game vs. the Chiefs this Sunday. That decision will likely have to wait until later on this week.

"The @Buccaneers are working with the @NFL to make contingency plans to move Sunday’s game against @Chiefs should Hurricane Ian land near Tampa," said the Sports Business Journal.

Out of precaution, the Buccaneers are moving practice to Miami. They will continue monitoring Hurricane Ian in regards to Sunday's game.
