The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing veteran wide receiver Cole Beasley, seeing that he first passes a physical. He will start out on the team's practice squad but is expected to join the active roster "soon."

"News from @gmfb: The #Buccaneers are signing veteran WR Cole Beasley to their practice squad with the expectation he’ll be elevated to the active roster soon, source says. Tom Brady pushed to bring in another veteran pass catcher and has had Beasley on his radar for a while," said Mike Garafolo.
Beasley will likely make an immediate impact for the Buccaneers, especially with Mike Evans out a game due to suspension. For his career, Beasley has 550 catches for 5,709 yards and 34 touchdowns.
