Tom Brady took over 10 days off of training camp to spend some time with his family. It was a controversial decision. However, Todd Bowles has remained supportive of his quarterback throughout the entire process.
During a press conference on Monday, Bowles spoke at length about Brady's absence and what he's been like since he's returned. It doesn't sound like there's any concern from the Buccaneers head coach.
Bowles told reporters this Monday afternoon that Brady has been "all-in" since returning from his extended absence. He's not concerned in the slightest.
“He's been all-in since we got him," said Bowles. "He's all-in now. I don't follow the off-the-field stuff. I listen to XM The Groove and Soul Town. My off-the-field activities are honestly not even football-related."
Much was made about Tom Brady's absence, but if there's anyone who doesn't need the preseason it's him. He's 45 years old and has been playing in the League for over two decades; he's just fine.
The Buccaneers begin the 2022 season on Sept. 11 against the Dallas Cowboys.
