Tony Gonzalez Crushes Bears, Commanders Ahead Of Thursday Night Football

NFL legend Tony Gonzalez.

Tony Gonzalez isn't making a strong argument for NFL fans to tune into Prime Video to catch Thursday Night Football this evening.

Tonight's game is between the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders at Soldier Field. If you're expecting good football, you are watching the wrong game.

Gonzalez calls the Bears and Commanders the "JV teams of the NFL." An obvious slight to two teams trying to get their seasons turned around.

Tony Gonzalez on the Amazon show: "These are the JV teams of the NFL."

Unfortunately, Tony Gonzalez isn't exactly wrong here. The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders just aren't playing good football right now.

On the Chicago side of things, the Bears can't seem to help quarterback Justin Fields take a significant step forward. At this point the jury's still out on the Ohio State product.

For the Commanders, meanwhile, Carson Wentz is finding plenty of success through the air, but turnovers have become a major issue.

The good news for Wentz and Co. is he is a perfect 6-0 on Thursday Night Football.
