Early in the first quarter of Monday night's Broncos vs. Chargers game, Russell Wilson didn't see a wide-open receiver over the middle of the field.
Instead, the longtime NFL quarterback took a sack and Denver had to take the offense off the field to kick a field goal.
Troy Aikman, now a commentator on ESPN's Monday Night Football, reacted to Wilson's poor decision-making right after the first-quarter play.
"Now this is on Russell Wilson," he said. "... Can't get more open than that."
The good news is it appears Russell Wilson and this Denver offense are starting to get things figured out.
Wilson and the Broncos wound up putting up 10 points on the first-quarter scoreboard. They lead the Chargers 10-0 in the second quarter.
