Fantasy football projections for the season ahead
As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Lockett looked poised to regress toward the mean after scoring on a whopping 17.5 percent of his receptions last year. But then Doug Baldwin retired, and Lockett suddenly looks like Seattle’s target leader. The Seahawks haven’t let him hit 20 percent in market share yet. Some of that has been injuries, but Lockett has a healthy offseason to work in an offense that added three rookie wideouts in the draft. Ultra-efficient QB Russell Wilson helps make the most of those targets.

Quick Take: Lockett’s not likely to turn into a true No. 1. But anything north of a 20 percent target share should give him a shot at high-WR2 numbers.
Projections for 2019
77 receptions, 110 targets, 1,078 yards, 7 receiving TDs
