Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel had high praise for team captains Wednesday.
The praise stemmed from a ping pong table being removed from the locker room, a move which McDaniel thought was the result of the team wanting to improve their focus on opponents.
Tyreek Hill, on the other hand, had a different point of view on the disappearance of the team's table tennis set.
As mentioned in the NFL on CBS tweet, the Dolphins' receiver told media members today that the removal of the table was caused by it being bent, and that a custom-designed set is on the way.
David Furones of Sun Sentinel had more on Hill's comments:
"Tyreek Hill says today the real reason the ping-pong table is out of the Dolphins locker room is he’s working on getting a new custom-designed Dolphins table to replace it. He said the old one had gotten bent. The player tournament is still on(!), according to Hill," Furones reported Thursday.
While coach Mike McDaniel might not like Hill's response to the ping pong drama, the focus for Miami will shift to game planning for a 4-1 Minnesota Vikings team with rookie 7th rounder Skylar Thompson at the helm.
