Week 5 fantasy football wide receiver rankings will look different for a couple of reasons. First, four teams are on bye, which means no Julio Jones, Demaryius Thomas, Michael Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders this week, among others. Injuries also are making their presence known as Oakland’s and Tennessee’s offenses are likely to take a step back with their starting quarterbacks now hurt.
Either way this is shaping up to be an interesting week, and also the most difficult one to do rankings for thus far. So be ready for changes, and the unexpected this week.
Mike Evans sits atop the rankings this week as Antonio Brown faces a very tough matchup against Jacksonville, which is why he falls slightly to No. 5. Amari Cooper drops even more after a tough matchup last week and the fact that Derek Carr is out for the time being. Michael Crabtree is also banged up, but Cooper is not getting the job done right now.
Teams on bye: Atlanta, Denver, New Orleans, Washington
