Antonio Brown returns to the top of the heap for the Week 6 fantasywide receiver rankings while Jordy Nelson falls based on his challenging matchup against Xavier Rhodes and the rest of Minnesota’s secondary. Nelson may not be shadowed by Rhodes the entire game, but yards and catches figure to be tough to come by.
Season-ending injuries to Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall have Sterling Shepard climbing the ranks. That doesn’t mean Shepard is suddenly a fantasy gold mine, however, as the Giants’ offense has been struggling, he’s dealing with an ankle injury and this week’s matchup is against a rested Denver defense at home.
The Houston Texans’ duo of DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller is high in my rankings since they get to face the Browns this week. Fuller likely won’t keep up his amazing touchdown pace, but he will remain productive for sure. Hopkins is easily a top-three option this week.
T.Y. Hilton could end up higher than he is now while Julio Jones’ health (he is coming off of a bye) makes him difficult to rank once again.
And there are more bye weeks (Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas and Seattle) and more injuries to navigate, which means expect changes. For example, Stefon Diggs is in a dream matchup against Green Bay, but his groin (and the Vikings’ QB situation) could be an issue. Right now he’s firmly in my top five, but that could change based on practice reports.
Teams on bye: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas, Seattle
