If you haven't noticed, "Mike & Mike" has taken a different turn from a radio to more of a television show. Some aren't fans, but that's neither here nor there.
The show is catching flack for not delievering the hard-hitting questions during a recent interview. Louisville head coach Rick Pitino was interviewed on the show and former employee Bill Simmons definitely wasn't a fan. What else is new. Check out some of the interview here.
After seeing that, Simmons began firing off on Twitter, accusing them of not asking questions regarding the scandal.
I hope Rick Pitino can recover from that vicious grilling that Mike and Mike gave him today.— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) March 15, 2016
"Hey Rick, your program used hookers to recruit teenagers and you're saying you're not accountable - so, um, who's winning the tournament?"— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) March 15, 2016
"Hey Rick - you presided over an escort scandal that got your school banned from the tournament and you didn't quit. Who are your sleepers?— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) March 15, 2016
"Hey Rick, you've had two damaging scandals at Louisville and you refuse to step down - what's it like to coach against your son?"— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) March 15, 2016
"Hey Rick - most schools give their recruits free dinners, your school gave them free orgasms. What do you think of the one-and-done rule?"— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) March 15, 2016
For a guy starting a new project, Simmons never fails to come off as a little bitter toward ESPN.
