The Tigers head coach makes time for the important things in life.
Dabo Swinney knows a celebrity when he sees one.
Jake Pratt is a senior at Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama and had a touching moment last month during a football game that went viral. The two schools played a part in Pratt, who has Down Syndrome, scoring a very memorable touchdown.
My brother, Jake, is 18 & a senior at Vestavia. He also happens to have Down Syndrome. Tonight 2 teams helped to make his dream come true! pic.twitter.com/uLoP3KH8KR— Amy Hyde (@Amy_Lissa) August 26, 2017
When Swinney and his assistant coaches ran onto the field Saturday, he did a double-take and realized who's hand he just shook. The Tigers coach took some time from his busy Saturday schedule to chat up the young man.
It's easy to see why Swinney is a favorite among fans.
