Kaepernick isn't an NFL quarterback at the moment, but that doesn't stop McHenry from discussing him.
Colin Kaepernick was a big story on the Fourth of July.
The quarterback tweeted a video of his voyage to Africa to find his independence and to make a difference in the community over there. It was well-received based on the amount engagement it got on social media.
How can we truly celebrate independence on a day that intentionally robbed our ancestors of theirs? To find my independence I went home. pic.twitter.com/hniYGJeLxG— Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) July 4, 2017
Former ESPNer Britt McHenry, for whatever reason, wasn't happy with that. She decided to dedicate an entire blog post on why it's wrong of him to do so and basically how and why he should celebrate America.
Many are drawing comparisons between McHenry and Tomi Lahren, who also has a problem with Kaepernick.
