Could this fill the void for CFB video game fans?
If you long for the days when you could play with your favorite college football team, your pain could be coming to an end soon.
A new game by the name of Gridiron Champions is expected to release in 2020 from the IMackulate Vision Gaming company, and fans are already clamoring for a taste of the glory days.
According to a release by IMV, "Gridiron Champions will offer a unique experience to gamers by allowing them the opportunity to customize player uniforms, stadiums, fan atmosphere and recreate pageantry through this unique college football experience." The company is hoping to fill a void left by the NCAA games of yesteryear.
IMV also stated that over 1,300 gamers have purchased Gridiron Champions as a pre-launch item in the past year so clearly the interest is there, and the company has received investments in the $10 million range. If all goes well there is potential for a basketball branch of the franchise, which is another area the video game world is sorely missing. IMV is hoping to resonate with fans and teams alike in order to keep the project going for years to come.
"We pride ourselves in maintaining a direct connection with our target audience," Chief Operations Officer Rusty Sugg stated.
Although the wait seems long, the future is bright for video game-playing college football fans.
