Week 3 of the reinvented USFL's inaugural season concludes with a pair of games on Sunday, May 1. One of the games features a border battle of sorts between two North Division foes while the other ensures there will be just one winless team remaining.

The newest iteration of the USFL features eight teams playing all of their games in Birmingham, Alabama, with some modified rules that are intended to increase scoring opportunities and entertainment value.

USFL Games on TV Today
Pittsburgh Maulers at Michigan Panthers, 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network
Both of these teams have gotten off to the roughest starts of any in the league but this represents an opportunity to turn things around. Pittsburgh showed significant improvement its last time out while Michigan's defense has been solid and just needs more support from the offense.
New Jersey Generals at Philadelphia Stars, 8 p.m. ET on Peacock
This is the first of two meetings between the North Division foes and the focus will be on establishing momentum after New Jersey and Philadelphia each picked up their first wins last weekend. The Generals are hoping for more production out of their offense while the Stars hope quarterback Bryan Scott will continue this strong play in the early going.
