USFL Games on TV Today
Birmingham Stallions at Pittsburgh Maulers, 2 p.m. on FOX
In what appears to be an enormous mismatch on paper, undefeated Birmingham will take on a Pittsburgh team that has won one game while being outscored by 62 points. One bright spot for the Maulers recently has been the introduction of new quarterback Vad Lee but the Stallions have been getting it done on both sides of the ball and have no intention of seeing their record get tarnished on Sunday.
Philadelphia Stars at Houston Gamblers, 6 p.m. on Peacock
Houston has lost five in a row but none of these games by more than seven points and the last two by just one point each. Philadelphia has been hovering at or around .500 for the past several weeks but the most important thing is that the Stars have a two-game cushion on both Michigan and Pittsburgh for the second playoff spot coming out of the North Division. Both teams have had their issues on defense so this one could be high scoring.
