Three weeks into the reinvented USFL's season and there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot separating the eight teams. Yes, there is just one undefeated team remaining and only one team that has yet to win a game but it feels like the whole complexion of the league could change, and quickly.

Perhaps that starts in Week 4, which kicks off on Friday night with a key North Division matchup between the Philadelphia Stars and Michigan Panthers. Then on Saturday, the other half of the division gets together when the New Jersey Generals look to stay hot against the winless Pittsburgh Maulers. Parity aside, the Maulers have clearly been the worst team through the first three games, but there's still time to turn things around.
The nightcap on Saturday pits the Tampa Bay Bandits against the Birmingham Stallions. The Stallions are 3-0 but a win by the Bandits could result in a three-way tie in the South Division after this week. The Week 4 slate concludes on Sunday afternoon with the Houston Gamblers and New Orleans Breakers meeting for the first of their two divisional matchups.
