USFL Predictions: Week 7 Picks for Every Game
The reinvented USFL enters Week 7 of the regular season and a clear divide between the teams is starting to appear. The disparity will be apparent this week as the four matchups don't pit a single team with a winning record or at .500 against another such squad. This sets up the opportunity for several teams to potentially play the role of spoiler.

The first game on the Week 7 slate pits the Tampa Bay Bandits against the North Division-leading New Jersey Generals. The Bandits are 3-3 and just one game behind the New Orleans Breakers for second in the South, so Tampa Bay has bigger things in mind than simply ending the Generals' five-game winning streak. Then in prime time, the Breakers will try and maintain their spot in the standings and playoff race when they face a Michigan Panthers team that has dropped three in a row.

On Sunday, the Birmingham Stallions will continue to do what they've done all season, which is win, against a Pittsburgh Maulers team that has just one victory on the season. Week 7 reaches its conclusion when the Philadelphia Stars match up against the Houston Gamblers. The Stars can climb above .500 and take another step toward a playoff berth with a victory while the Gamblers are hoping their luck changes as they have lost five straight.
