Angel Reese Reveals Subtle Move About Her Vogue Shoot That Fans Didn’t Notice

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese reveals a secret about her Vogue cover shoot that fans may have missed.

For the Winter 2025 issue, Reese stunned in a bold red Versace gown, photographed by the acclaimed Norman Jean Roy.

Sure enough, fans couldn't help but rave about the WNBA star’s continued achievements off the court.

However, before the announcement of her Vogue cover, the Sky forward had apparently dropped subtle hints about it.

In an Instagram Stories post, the 22-year-old teased that her previous appearance at the Chicago Bulls vs. Orlando Magic game contained a clue about the photoshoot.

“I wore this VOGUE shirt literally the day after I shot my cover & no one knew,” she wrote alongside the photo of her outfit.

During the matchup at the United Center in October, Reese's game-day outfit stole the spotlight. She was spotted courtside wearing a printed Vogue tee, layering the look with a light blue denim jacket and finishing it off with sleek black leather boots.

To add a touch of flair, the WNBA star accessorized with a bold gold chain necklace and oversized dark sunglasses.

While Reese had previously appeared in a Vogue spread in April 2024, this marks her first time doing a cover shoot for the iconic publication.

As she explained, sports and fashion have always been her passions.

“It’s always been both: basketball and fashion,” she told the publication. “I was always in my mom’s closet, trying on her clothes. I loved carrying a purse, having my hair done—I wanted to look put together. I still do.”
