XFL Football: 50 Former FCS Players on XFL Rosters

CAA Football, the Missouri Valley, and Big Sky conferences are recognized as the three strongest conferences in FCS college football.

They also lead the 13 FCS conferences with the most former players on XFL rosters as the professional league reboots this weekend.

There are 50 former FCS* players represented on the XFL's eight teams, including 10 on the Los Angeles Wildcats. The CAA leads the subdivision with 10 overall, including former NFL quarterback Taylor Heinicke. He won the 2012 Walter Payton Award as the FCS Offensive Player of the Year when Old Dominion was an FCS member.

The Missouri Valley and Big Sky have seven and six players, respectively. Southern Utah, from the Big Sky, is the only FCS program with more than two players (three).
