XFL Games on TV Today

Los Angeles Wildcats at New York Guardians, 2 p.m. ET on ABC

Fresh off of a 30-point victory over the previously undefeated DC Defenders, the Wildcats head to the Big Apple to take on a Guardians team that's fallen on hard times. Since winning its opener, New York has lost two in a row by a combined 47 points. Los Angeles put together by far its best all-round game last Sunday, piling up 334 yards of offense and coming up with five takeaways in the big, 39-9 home win against DC. While the Guardians have all sorts of issues at quarterback, Josh Johnson has returned from missing the opener to throw for 463 yards and five touchdowns with just one turnover (fumble lost) in his first two starts for the Wildcats.

Seattle Dragons at St. Louis BattleHawks, 5 p.m. ET on FOX

The BattleHawks hope for some more home cooking when they host the Dragons late Saturday afternoon. St. Louis dominated all phases of last week's game, including providing the first kick return for a touchdown in the XFL, in a 29-9 win over New York in front of the largest crowd (29,554) to see an XFL game thus far. Meanwhile, Seattle let a 12-6 halftime lead over Dallas slip away last Saturday when the Renegades outscored the Dragons 18-0 over the final two quarters. The second half was a microcosm of Seattle's continued struggles on offense, as the Dragons are averaging 16 points per game. St. Louis not only boasts the league's leading rusher in Matt Jones (224 yards), but quarterback Jordan Ta'amu has accounted for 735 yards of offense and five total touchdowns in three games.
