The Las Vegas Raiders enter Week 4 after a disappointing 41-24 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 3, a defeat that highlighted issues on both sides of the ball. Despite the absence of Washington starting quarterback Jayden Daniels, who was ruled out with a knee injury, the Raiders struggled to contain the Commanders offense. Las Vegas allowed 400 total yards while generating 354, although third-year wide receiver Tre Tucker delivered a standout performance of eight receptions, 145 yards and three touchdowns.
Now at 1-2, Las Vegas returns to Allegiant Stadium to face the Chicago Bears (1-2) in what is shaping up to be one of the most difficult home environments for the Raiders.

While the Raiders look to reset at home, the atmosphere may not lean in their favor. Per Mick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing Vivid Seats data, Sunday’s game projects to feature a 50-50 crowd split between Raiders and Bears fans. The contest is already the most in-demand NFL game of the week, with tickets averaging $523 and a get-in price of $294. Fans are traveling an average of 993 miles to attend, underscoring the heavy demand from Chicago’s supporter base.
That projection is a sharp contrast from the Raiders’ home opener on “Monday Night Football,” when an 86–14 split in favor of Raiders fans was expected against the Los Angeles Chargers, per Akers. Despite the overwhelming backing that night, Las Vegas still fell to the Chargers. The reminder is clear: Crowd support alone does not secure wins.
On Sunday, with Allegiant Stadium divided evenly, Raiders fans will need to amplify their presence to offset a strong showing from Bears supporters. The challenge ahead lies as much in the stands as it does on the field.
Week 4 Preview: Raiders vs. Bears
Sunday’s Week 4 meeting between Las Vegas and Chicago is big for both teams. The Raiders are aiming to avoid slipping further behind in the AFC West ahead of their next road matchup against the 3-0 Indianapolis Colts.
The Bears, coming off an impressive Caleb Williams performance against the Dallas Cowboys (298 yards, four touchdowns), view this as a chance to secure a signature road win early in the season and prove that last Sunday’s win was not a one-off. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday at Allegiant Stadium with coverage on CBS.
